Savannah-Chatham police are still looking for the suspect in a Thanksgiving homicide, and they’re asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to help out.
Johnathan Maurice Gibbs, 18, is wanted in connection to the Nov. 26 shooting on Oak Forest Lane that killed Bobby Owens.
Owens, 43, was found dead in front of an apartment building early that morning, said Eunicia Baker, police spokeswoman.
Detectives identified Gibbs as the shooting suspect and obtained warrant charging him with murder.
Gibbs is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. He’s known to frequent areas near Park and Waters avenues and the Oak Forest apartment complex.
Gibbs is considered armed and dangerous. Police say anyone who sees him should call 911 immediately and avoid approaching him.
