The Savannah-Chatham police department’s Violent Crimes detectives are investigating a shooting Friday night at a residence on the 100 block of Paradise Drive that left one man dead and another injured, police said.

Police responded to the scene about 11:15 p.m. and found two men in their 20s suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken by ambulance to Memorial University Medical Center, where one later died from his injuries, according to Eunicia Baker, police spokeswoman.

The second victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators do not believe the shootings were random and hope to find suspects and motives in this incident.

Detectives are now searching for a white sedan, possibly a late 90s to early 2000s model, that drove toward White Bluff Road just after the incident.
