Police have identified a body found on the side of a road on Savannah's south side Sunday as that of a 34-year-old homeless man reported missing Feb. 2.
Investigators did not see any immediate indications of foul play in the death of Jason Edwards, said Eunicia Baker, Savannah-Chatham police spokeswoman. Edwards' death remains under investigation as police await autopsy and toxicology results.
Edwards' body was found Sunday evening in a drainage ditch on the 1900 block of East Montgomery Crossroad.
