Savannah-Chatham police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday evening just after 8:30 p.m. near a hotel on the 7500 block of White Bluff Road.
Metro responded to the scene after two victims, reportedly traveling with a tour group, were walking back from a nearby restaurant. As the victims approached the hotel, two male subjects approached them, robbing them at gunpoint. One suspect struck one of the victims before fleeing on foot from the scene.
Both suspects are described as black males wearing masks. One suspect wore a black hoodie during the incident, while the other wore a gray hoodie. They were last seen traveling on foot northbound on White Bluff Road.
