Savannah-Chatham police are investigating the shooting of two 55-year-old men in the Tremont Park area Monday night.
The two men were transported to Memorial University Medical Center after the 10:13 p.m. shooting at the home of one of the victims, said police spokesman Julian Miller. Their injuries were considered non-life threatening.
The two men told police they were sitting on the porch of the house when a man walked up and started shooting at them.

Phones to be down for Port Wentworth gov’t departments
The telephone system for the city of Port Wentworth will be down for maintenance today for an hour.
The scheduled outage from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. will only impact city government telephones. Private customers in the Port Wenworth area will not experience an interruption in telephone service.
In the event of an emergency, the public is asked to call 911.
