A middle-aged man was found shot Thursday evening in Savannah’s Midtown neighborhood.
Shortly after 7:30 p.m., a 40-year-old man walked up to a house on the 1,000 block of East 33rd Street and told the person at the door he had been shot on the 1,000 block of East 34th Street, said Julian Miller, Savannah-Chatham police spokesman.
The man was taken to Memorial University Medical Center with injuries that were not believed to be life threatening.
Detectives are investigating the incident, and no further information was available Thursday night.
