A male in his late teens to early 20s was transported to Memorial University Medical Center with wounds that did not appear to be life threatening after the 10:06 p.m. shooting, said Julian Miller, Savannah-Chatham police spokesman.
Metro police had the apartments blocked off with yellow crime scene tape at Emerald Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard late Friday as violent crime detectives, forensics officers and a K-9 worked the area of the shooting and interviewed people.
