Police are searching for two men they say burglarized a westside Savannah convenience store early Sunday morning.
At 4:11 a.m. Sunday, surveillance cameras recorded two males crawling through the front door of Shop-N-Go on the 1600 block of West Bay Stret before stealing items from the store, said Eunicia Baker, Savannah-Chatham police spokeswoman. Surveillance footage captured just before midnight Sept. 6 showed one of the store’s glass doors being broken with a concrete block.
During the burglary, one suspect wore a light colored T-shirt, blue jean shorts, and a large sack. The second suspect wore a black T-shirt, dark pants and a white ball cap.
No further descriptions of the suspects was immediately available.
