State probation officers and Chatham County Sheriff’s Office deputies were conducting checks of probationers and serving arrest warrants when they requested assistance from the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team after becoming suspicious of criminal activity at a home on the first block of Canal Bank Road in Pooler.

Agents then conducted a search of the residence and discovered powder and crack cocaine, marijuana, prescription pills and items commonly associated with the distribution of controlled substances, said Gene Harley, CNT spokesman. Crawford was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Thursday marked Crawford’s fourth arrest by CNT and Price’s second, Harley said. Both are being held in the Chatham County jail.

CNT arrested 38-year-old Ryaisa Dukes of Savannah. Controlled substances and other items of evidentiary value were seized from the residence, Harley said. CNT also seized a vehicle.

CNT obtained warrants for Dukes following a monthlong investigation in which agents made several purchases of crack cocaine from him. He is being held in the jail.
