County drug agents say they arrested six people in a meth bust Wednesday.

Edward “Eddie, Stay Up Eddie” Lynn of Pooler, 34; Christopher Lewis of Savannah, 39; Scott Carter of Bloomingdale, 37; William Jonathan Eaton Jr. of Hardeeville, 34; Lindsey Fluellen of Florida, 30; and Steven Mason of Pooler, 30, were all arrested.

Lynn, Lewis, Carter, Eaton and Fluellen were all charged with sale of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute and possession of tools during the commission of a crime. Lewis faces an additional charge for possession of Xanax. Mason, meanwhile, was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court.

Early Wednesday evening, Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team agents, the metro police SWAT team and K-9s from the sheriff’s office executed search warrants at two hotel rooms and one vehicle at the Days Inn on Dean Forest Road. The searches resulted in the seizure of crystal methamphetamine, tools commonly associated with the distribution of controlled substances, U.S. currency and one firearm, said Gene Harley, CNT spokesman.

CNT’s investigation into the group began last week after agents received information that crystal meth was being sold from the hotel rooms at the inn. Undercover agents made several purchases of crystal meth from the group and were able to obtain the search warrants, Harley said.

Days Inn management was cooperative with law enforcement, Harley said.

Three of the people arrested received a bond at their arraignment hearings Thursday.
