Four prostitution-related arrests were made late Wednesday night in a joint operation by Savannah-Chatham police and the Department of Homeland Security.
The undercover operation took place at a hotel on Abercorn Street, said Michelle Gavin, police spokeswoman. The operation targeted pimps, prostitutes and individuals soliciting these services.
Taylor Lynn Rogers, 25, is charged with prostitution and escorting without a license. Nicole Dale, 23, is charged with prostitution, escorting without a license and felony obstruction. Michelle Hyden, 46, is charged with pimping. David Atlee Gibson, 57, is charged with pandering.
This operation comes in the wake of several recent crimes targeting prostitutes. In a news release, Capt. Terry Shoop, who commands Southside Precinct, said operations will continue as needed.
