Police say they’ve arrested three people in a series of beer thefts.
Jared Henry, Tristan Kim and Louis Winters, all 19, were arrested Thursday and charged them each with four counts of burglary.
Residents of a Settlers Point home chased a man who was holding a flashlight off their property about 4 p.m. that day, said Eunicia Baker, Savannah-Chatham police spokeswoman. The subject fled in a white Jeep Compass. Later that morning, burglaries were reported in three additional houses on Meriweather Drive and Blue Crab Point. An attempted burglary was reported nearby. Beer and sporting goods were stolen from each residence, Baker said.
Investigators tracked the suspects and their vehicle containing most of the stolen items to a Wild Thistle Lane residence, where the suspects were visiting.
