Officers were called to a grocery store near Capital Street and Pennsylvania Avenue just after 12:45 p.m. that day to find a woman who’d been robbed of cash, said Eunica Baker, Savannah-Chatham police spokeswoman.
Police seek to identify those involved. The suspect is described as a black male, between the ages of 17-21, with a medium afro. During the incident he wore a black shirt, tan camouflage cargo shorts and black and white flip flops with white stripes. He ran west on Greenwood street. During the robbery the suspect was accompanied by a black male dressed in an oversized black T-shirt and black pants. He left in a silver or white late model sedan with a female driver.
