Savannah-Chatham police are investigating a shooting that injured a 19-year-old man on the 2300 block of Tulip Street on Tuesday night.
Just before 9 p.m., police responded to the scene, finding the man with a gunshot wound, said Eunicia Baker, Savannah-Chatham police spokeswoman. He was transported to Memorial University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was reportedly entering a residence when the shooting occurred, Baker said.
Detectives are searching for a black male with an average build, standing at least 5-foot-8 and dressed in all black during the incident.
