Savannah-Chatham police say a 60-year-old man was taken to a hospital with serious injuries Thursday night after being stabbed in front of a gas station on the city’s east side.
The man was standing outside the gas station in the 3000 block of Skidaway Road when a second man walked up to him and initiated an argument, said Sonny Cohrs, Savannah-Chatham police spokesman. A fight ensued, and at some point, the suspect pulled a knife and stabbed the first man.
The victim was taken to Memorial University Medical Center with serious injuries.
Patrol officers and K-9 units were unable to locate the suspect.
