Savannah-Chatham police are investigating after a man was shot outside a residence on Alabama Avenue later Thursday.
The man, in his early 20s, was transported to a local hospital after he was shot just before 10 p.m. at the home near Alabama's intersection with Maryland Avenue, said Julian Miller, police spokesman.
The victim, Miller said, was refusing to cooperate with police. No information about possible suspects was immediately available late Thursday.
