Police probe two Savannah slayings

Victims of two recent Savannah shootings have succumbed to their injuries, and police are investigating their deaths has homicides.

Randy Brown, 39, who was shot Jan. 15, and Marvin Hills, 24, who was shot Jan. 17, have both died, said Eunicia Baker, Savannah-Chatham police spokeswoman.

Just after 2 a.m. Jan. 15, Brown was found critically injured on the 1000 block of East 34th Street and was taken to Memorial University Medical Center where he later died of his gunshot wounds, Baker said.

Hills succumbed to injuries suffered during an early morning shooting Jan. 17 on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and West Victory Drive.
