Detectives have launched an investigation into the shooting of a homeless man during a late-night game of dominoes in Savannah’s Live Oak neighborhood.
The 61-year-old man was at a house on the 1300 block of East 35th Street on Wednesday, where a game of dominoes was being played. About 10 p.m., shots were fired and the man was struck by a bullet, said Julian Miller, Savannah-Chatham police spokesman.
He was taken to Memorial University Medical Center with injuries not believed to be life threatening.
