Police arrested three men and recovered stolen items after neighbors teamed up with officers Tuesday to solve three burglaries.

Michael Maurice Dillon, 18, Antonio Sevon Jackson, 18, and Rahiem Thomas Rocke, 21, all of Savannah, were each charged with three counts of burglary, said Julian Miller, Savannah-Chatham police spokesman.

They were arrested by West Chatham Precinct officers about 10:45 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Bluegill Lane and Killearn Court after a resident reported seeing three males enter a black sedan carrying items from a nearby house, Miller said.

Police saturated the neighborhood and found the car with the three men inside. Along with the occupants were several guns, a crossbow and ammunition taken from house on Bluegill, Miller said. The rear door of that house had been kicked in.

The descriptions of the suspects and vehicle were similar to a report Monday by another alert resident on Katama Way in the same neighborhood off Quacco Road, Miller said. Two houses had been burglarized there.

The resident of the Bluegill home had supplied police with serial numbers of the items, which sped up the identification and return of those items, Miller said.

Police are continuing to investigate the burglaries.
