Police in Garden City are looking for information about a late-night burglary at a gas station over the weekend.
Early Saturday or Sunday morning three people somehow busted a small hole in the back wall of the Chevron station at U.S. 80 and Chatham Parkway, went in and made off with money and cigarettes, said Garden City police Capt. Gil Ballard.
The hole was not large and could only be crawled through, Ballard said. Police are unsure exactly how the wall, which is concrete, was breached. That area of the building is somewhat concealed by shrubbery, the police captain said.
Once inside the building, the burglars went into gaming machines and an ATM, Ballard said. They also filled three garbage bags full of cigarette cartons and some other goods, he said.
No description of the suspects was available, but police were able to tell from surveillance video that three people were involved.
