Savannah-Chatham police are investigating the shooting of a 29-year-old man in the Cuyler-Brownville neighborhood early Thursday morning.
The victim was transported to Memorial University Medical Center with non-life threatening gunshot wounds, said Julian Miller, metro police spokesman. Central Precinct patrol officers found him on the porch of a house at West 36th and Florence streets about 3:08 a.m.
Violent crimes detectives are investigating reports that he was being chased by another male when the shooting occurred near the intersection, Miller said.
