

Police say three people were shot at a Georgetown apartment complex Tuesday night.
The man who shot two women and then himself, police said, has died.
John Richard “Rick” Morris, 41, died at Memorial University Medical Center, where he was transported with a self-inflicted gunshot wound after he shot two women at Georgetown Crossing apartments, said Julian Miller, Savannah-Chatham police spokesman.
Mary Cronk, 25, and Heather Gale, 25, also were transported to Memorial with gunshot wounds, Miller asid. Cronk was listed in critical condition. Gale was listed as stable.
All three people worked together and lived in the apartment complex. Cronk had ended her relationship with Morris just prior to the incident, Miller said.
Officers were called to the apartments on the 1000 block of King George Boulevard about 8:10 p.m. on reports of a shooting.
Miller said Tuesday night that some shots were fired inside an apartment and some were fired outside, but no shots were fired by police.
SWAT, K-9 and patrol officers responded to the apartments.
Forensics officers and violent crimes detectives were on scene late Tuesday night.
Detectives are continuing to investigate.

Officers were called to Georgetown Crossing apartments about 8:10 p.m. on reports of a shooting, said Julian Miller, Savannah-Chatham police spokesman.
Two females and one male were found suffering from gunshot wounds and were transported to Memorial University Medical Center for treatment, Miller said.
The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
Miller said some shots were fired inside an apartment and some were fired outside, but no shots were fired by police.
SWAT, K-9 and patrol officers responded to the apartments on the 1000 block of King George Boulevard.
Miller said that no one was in custody, but police were not searching for a suspect.
Forensics officers and violent crimes detectives were on scene late Tuesday night, and Miller said the investigation was underway in the back area of the complex.
