The late 1980s model Oldsmobile or Buick turned left onto Victory Drive from Victory Manor Place and struck the man just east of the intersection about 7:15 p.m., then continued east on Victory Drive, said Julian Miller, police spokesman. Victory Manor Place is named Dixie Avenue on the south side of Victory Drive. The car may have damage to its left front fender.
The victim was transported with potentially serious injuries, Miller said.
