Police want help finding Savannah woman wanted for arrest, questioning

Police are asking for help finding a Savannah woman they want to arrest for property damage and want to question about a shooting and another case.

Dennaysha Temmicka Roper, 24, of the 1900 block of East 56th Street, is wanted for arrest for criminal damage to property after she allegedly beat on the windows and ran her car into a vehicle belonging to a woman who was talking to a man in the 5100 block of Franklin Street June 29, said Julian Miller, Savannah-Chatham police spokesman.

She also is wanted for questioning after shots were fired at a house on Oleander Avenue early that morning, and in the shooting of a 19-year-old man in front of his house on the 5200 block of Franklin Street last Sunday.

Roper is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 114 pounds. She has a medium complexion and usually wears her hair long. Police ask anyone who sees her to call 911 immediately.
