Police say a 27-year-old man was grazed by a bullet in a West River Street shooting early Sunday morning.
The victim was taken to a hospital after the 3:34 a.m. shooting at West River and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, said a Savannah-Chatham police spokesperson.
Downtown is typically busy with pedestrian traffic late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, with bars closing at 3 a.m.
Police believe the vicitim and suspect knew each other.
The investigation was in its early stages Sunday, and no further information was immediately available.
