
Lamarlvin Watts, 20, was arrested Wednesday evening, by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Southeast Georgia Violent Crime Task Force and Savannah-Chatham police for an armed bank robbery earlier this week.
Metro’s Robbery Unit obtained arrest warrants on Wednesday afternoon. Watts was taken into custody by 5:30 p.m. without incident, said Eunicia Baker, spokeswoman for metro police. The FBI along with Metro’s Criminal Investigations Division, K-9, and Islands Precinct CSU were on scene.
The incident occurred Tuesday, July 13 at Wells Fargo on the 1900 block of East Victory Drive. Watts is charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm in committing a crime and aggravated assault, said Baker.
