Savannah-Chatham police are investigating a shooting that occurred on the 1000 block of Googe Street around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say two men got into an altercation and one man shot the other. One victim was taken to Memorial University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Eunicia Baker, police spokeswoman.
The intersection of Googe Street and Winburn Street was closed to traffic as police investigated the incident.
