Detectives are probing a Tuesday evening shooting on Savannah’s west side that sent a 28-year-old man to a hospital.
The victim was shot in the 1000 block of Lynah Street about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. He was taken to Memorial University Medical Center with injuries that were not believed to be life threatening, said Savannah-Chatham police spokeswoman Eunicia Baker.
The victim was reportedly shot during an altercation with an acquaintance.
The investigation is active.
Police are asking anyone with information on the case to call the anonymous CrimeStoppers service at 912-234-2020. Callers’ identities are never known, and information that leads to an arrest may result in a cash reward.
